In the last few days, we have been telling Davey stories before his bedtime or naptime to help him wind down. The Spradlins have been here which has been very fun, but then Davey needs a little extra wind down help.
So David tells him stories. David starts the story and then Davey fills in where he wants him to go. David had told him a story about a pickle. Davey really liked that so ever since then, David says, “Once upon a time, there was a …. and Davey jumps in to say: “A pickle!”. Davey is happy to fill in other parts of the story with words like monkeys, ducks, etc. He likes to get involved in the story.
