I’m learning about leprechauns and all things St. Patrick’s Day. Uncle Kev sent some great books to Davey, and I’ve learned all kinds of lore. At preschool, they looked for leprechauns and even set “traps” for them! I don’t know where I’ve been all of these years as far as St. Patrick’s Day goes! The extent of my knowledge was wear green so you don’t get pinched. Pitiful!
I need to make some plans for a little St. Patrick’s Day party tomorrow. I’ll need to check out pinterest for some last minute ideas. Davey always loves a party!
It’s already been a couple weeks ago that we went to San Francisco to meet our new niece Lila. We had a great trip. She is the cutest baby girl, and Davey loved hanging out with her.
We met our great old friend Michele and her family too. (She’s not old – but she’s a longtime friend!)
Davey saw the ocean for the first time, and he loved it.
I love this picture.
So now we’ve been back home for a couple of weeks and we are making our way to the end of the semester.
I’ve been knitting some. Not as much as I’d like. I just finished a sweet little sweater. I’ll put up pictures soon. I need to block it. I made it with Blue Sky worsted organic cotton. Sometimes cotton is hard on the hands. Not this cotton. It was great to knit up.
That’s about it on a Saturday afternoon!
