It’s Halloween and we are still waiting.  This morning I was feeling like I was having some contractions, but then I guess Baby David decided to go back to sleep.  So I did too.

Yesterday was David’s birthday.  I am posting a link to a little video we did.  It seems like the quality of the uploaded video is not as good as the original.  I need to figure that out.  I also need to embed the you tube player into my blog, but I will do that later.  David’s Bday

We took a couple of pictures too.  David took the one of him and me.  We always like taking pictures like that – where he holds out the camera and takes it.

Last night David’s co-workers had a great baby shower for us.  We had a really nice time.   We had a great meal of lasagna and salad.  David was provided with emergency diaper changing kits so that he will be prepared for any situation.  The kits included goggles, tongs, gloves, mask, duck tape, his mom’s phone number – he is ready!

Then last week I received a great surprise in the mail – this beautiful baby quilt which Linda B.  made for us.

It’s Tuesday morning.  We are going to go meet our pediatrician in a little while.

Last week we “met” a couple for dinner.  I say met with quotes, because David has played online games with B. for probably 7 years.  Me too – but not for as long.  We had a lot of fun getting to know them -so much in fact that we met them the next weekend too when they were passing back through.  I am posting a picture of us at dinner.

That’s about it around here.  We are still waiting.  I go to the doctor Thursday for a checkup.

I don’t have anything to report baby-wise except that we are still working on the name!  Today I wanted to see what I needed to do to insert an image.  Sizing and all that.

This is the great little chair that Holly made for us.  It’s waiting as we are. 🙂

David worked on putting the stroller together this morning.  I think he has it all figured out (assembly, disassembly, etc.)  Of course it will take me much longer to be able to do it – I am about the least mechanically inclined person on the planet.

I have been trying to figure out the best way to share pictures and videos of the baby.  He’s not here yet, but I am trying to get everything ready.  I thought I’d try out a blog.  We’ll see how it goes.
